Wuest, Richard Eric (Rick), age 72 of Centerville, Ohio passed away at home on June 10th, 2017.
Rick graduated from SAA in Rome NY in 1962 and the University of Dayton in 1966 where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in engineering. Following graduation, he served in the US Army Corp of Engineers in Viet Nam. Upon his return he settled in Centerville and worked for more than 40 years at General Motors and Delphi.
Throughout his life he was an active member in the Catholic Church and supported various service organizations such as the Optimist Club and the VA. He was a good golfer and an excellent bowler, but his favorite activity was fishing. From April until October he spent as much time as he could on the lakes, rivers, and creeks of the Midwest and Canada, sharing those moments with his wife and extended family.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Barbara and Robert Wuest.
He is survived by his wife Jeri Wuest, his children Laura McClendon and Lisa Wuest, son-in-law Shaan McCledon, his grandchild Savannah McClendon and his siblings Rebecca Wuest and Mike Wuest.
Family will greet friends at Incarnation Church from 12:00 to 1:00 on Friday, June 16th with a memorial mass immediately following. The Church is located 7415 Far Hills Ave. in Centerville, Ohio.
