Richard L. Irwin

Richard L. Irwin, age 77, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born September 2, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio, the son of Cecil and Harriet (Baer) Irwin. On June 20, 1964 he married Judith Bucklew in Dayton, OH.

Richard loved to play bingo, watch baseball and football, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals, and also enjoyed watching the UD Flyers basketball games. He loved his family and friends dearly and will be greatly missed by all.

Richard is survived by his wife Judith; two sons, Bruce D. (Martha S.) Irwin and Donald L. Irwin; two brothers, John and Robert Irwin; a sister, Onlee Kern; and numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432. Visitation will be the evening prior on Thursday, June 1 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Valley View Memorial Gardens. The family requests donations can be made in Richard's memory to their favorite charity.
