Donald Gene Hillard, age 75 of Dayton, OH, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017. He was born January 2, 1942 in Dayton, Ohio the son of Lester and Una Dell (Stone) Hillard.
Don was a fan of the Cincinnati Reds and the Cincinnati Bengals and loved watching sports. He loved to go for drives, loved his family and friends dearly and will greatly be missed by all.
Donald is survived by his two sons, Chris (Tricia) Hillard and Todd Hillard; a daughter, Gina M. Brown; five grandchildren, Michael (Stephanie) Hillard, Jacob (Christy) Smith, Shayla Brown, Ciara Brown and Jordan Hillard; six great grandchildren, Brendan, Cayla, Macie, Madyson, Zayne and Maximus; long time friends, JIm Wiltsie, Preston Lowery and Gene Roberts; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Alma J. Hillard.
Funeral Services will be held June 1, 2017 at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432, with Pastor Eric Wright officiating. Visitation will be June 1, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the funeral home. Burial will follow at New Carlisle Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Alzheimer's Foundation, 31 West Whipp Road, Dayton, OH 45420.
