Ralph W. George

Ralph W. George, 83, of Xenia, passed away May 12, 2017. Ralph was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 22, 1934 to the late Raphael and Grace George. Ralph retired from DESC after 34 years of service. He was a member of the Miami Valley Model Railroaders Association for many years. He was a proud veteran of the Korean War, member of the VFW and a big supporter of the Wounded Warriors Project. In his free time he enjoyed being involved with softball with his sons.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Marilyn (Kenney) George.

He is survived by his sons, Michael (Lauren) George, Alex (Dawn) George; grandchildren, Candace C. Schmidt, Alex L. (Loren) George; great grandchildren, Cienna G. Schmidt, Logan J. George; and several special friends.

A private graveside service will be held at New Burlington Cemetery in Chester Township. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel. Memorial donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
