Charles Pringle, 89, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 in Dayton, Ohio. Charles was born on August 4, 1927 in Winding Gulf, West Virginia to the late Thomas and Idella Pringle.
Charles was a graduate of South Point High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired from General Motors.

In addition to his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Ronald Oldham; 4 sisters, Lillian Robinson, Mary Pringle, Pauline Jordan and Allene Oglesby; brother, Donald Pringle and niece, Vivian Bush.

He is survived by his step-children, Carol Oldham, Joel Oldham and LaWanda Oldham; brother-in-law, Kenneth Oglesby; 3 nieces, Sarah Pringle-Lewis, Linda (Al) Raymond and Cynthia (Bob) Letterman; 3 nephews, Gregory Wood, Vincent Jordan and Ken Oglesby and other nieces, nephews, cousins, grandkids and friends including family friend, "Laddie" Silas Evans.

Family will receive friends Wednesday, May 17, 2017 from 11 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 noon at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. Interment at Dayton National Cemetery.
