Colleen E. Murphy

Colleen E. Murphy, age 50, of Kettering, passed away April 10, 2017. She was born on July 6, 1966 in Dayton, Ohio to John T. "Jack" and Norma L. (Dale) Murphy who preceded her in death.

Colleen is survived by her longtime companion and the love of her life, Robert E. McEvoy; step-daughter Nicolle McEvoy (Billy Back); step-son Raymond Olson (Sarah Olson); grandchildren Aadyn Back, Laura, Vincent and Lilly Olson; aunt Selma Merrick; cousins Karen (Randy) Zuercher, Brian (Meghan) Zuercher, Christine Zuercher, Bill (Cindy) Siemens and Steve Siemens.

Colleen worked at Kastle Electric for 15 plus years with a great and caring staff.

She always looked forward to her yearly vacations with friends and family to visit many different ports of call.

Colleen loved to shop, especially for her grandchildren and she was always up for planning or attending a party.

She was a member of the FOE-Moraine City, where she held the positions of Guard and Treasurer; was a Lifetime Member of the VFW-West Carrollton and a member of the Moose Lodge in Miamisburg since 1990.

A service to celebrate Colleen's life will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at the David's Cemetery Community Mausoleum Chapel in Kettering, Ohio. Family will greet friends from 10-11:00 am at the Chapel.
