Cathy A. Black, 63, of Dayton, OH, passed away April 8, 2017. She was born in Cumberland, Maine on November 20, 1953 to Daniel and Helen (Mason) Southard. She married Donald Black on August 29, 1998 in San Bernadino, California.
Cathy retired from WalMart where she worked as a stocker and greeter. She enjoyed animals, especially horses, dogs and cats and loved horse back riding. She was a member of ARBA (American Rabbit Breeders Association) and was a breeder and showed a variety of rabbits. She loved going to the casino and the one armed bandits. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her spouse, Donald; her three children, Karen (Derek) Doiron, Theresa Rosenthal and Daniel (Amber) Rosenthal; four grandchildren Lucas, Trent, Brooklynn and Ronin; a brother, Davie Southard. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother Tommy.
Services for Cathy will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association, 4555 Lake Forest Drive, Cincinnati, OH 45242..
