Dale Kauffman

Dale Kauffman, age 82 of Huber Heights, Ohio, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Lane Park Assisted Living. He was born June 25, 1934, in Mansfield, Ohio the son of Guy and Nancy Kauffman.

He was the former pastor of Maranatha Bible Church on Fishburg Rd. in Huber Heights and was a service technician at Simms Management. He was a member of Christian Life Center for the past ten years.

Dale was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and gruncle. His passion in life was helping others, visiting the sick and spreading God's love to everyone he met. He enjoyed genealogy, fishing, traveling and loved attending local festivals and fairs. He played softball in his younger years and enjoyed watching sports. Dale touched many lives and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Guy Kauffman, Jr. and Jim Kauffman and his first wife, Patty Kish.

Dale will be missed by his loving wife of almost 20 years, Marti; children, Doug (Cheryl) Kauffman, Mark (Sandy) Kauffman, Steve (Jill) Kauffman and Elizabeth O'Hair; grandchildren, Duane (Vivian) Kauffman and Kyle (Fiona) Kauffman; Megan (Dave) Gooden, Kelsey Kauffman and Emily Kauffman; Nathan and Luke Kauffman; Josh (Heather) O'Hair, Sarah (finance Brandon Stewart) O'Hair, Rachel O'Hair and Matthew (financee Christina Fell) O'Hair; great grandchildren, Davian, Aliana, Payton, Hayden and a great-grandson on the way and nieces and nephews. .

Family will receive friends Thursday, April 13, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - North Chapel (4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, Ohio 45424). Private burial will be held at Bethel Cemetery.
