Elizabeth Anne Moody

Elizabeth Anne Moody, age 73 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 2, 2017. She was born in Lawrenceburg, TN to Beecher Morgan and raised by her mother and step-father, Lovie and AJ Laws. Anne married her high school sweetheart, Carl Moody in December of 1962. She graduated from Stivers High School in 1961. She worked for many years in the medical billing field for both Wright State and Dayton Children's Hospital. Anne had a love for gardening, reading, and cross-stitch. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Anne was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to Anne's parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl E. Moody; and brother, Steve Laws.

Anne leaves behind to cherish her memory, children, Christopher Moody and Eric (Heather) Moody; grandchildren, Joshua, Sarah, Catie, and Brian; brother, Alan (Linda) Laws; sister-in-law, Paulette Laws; brothers-in-law, Carl "Junior" Moody, Jack Moody, and James Moody; sister-in-law, Carlene Isble; Deborah Weisman; and many other loving relatives and friends.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel from 3pm-7pm. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 10, 2017 at 10:30am at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Anne's memory to the American Cancer Society.
