Jeffrey Thomas Fiely

FIELY, Jeffrey Age 59, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017. He was born August, 14 1957 in Dayton. He was son of the late Othmar Fiely and Dorothy (Brown) Fiely.

In addition to his parents, Jeff was preceded in death by his brother James and his brother-in law Jack.

He leaves behind his two parakeet children, Tom and Fur; his siblings Cindi (Tom) Gantner and Terry Schlorman; sister-in-law, Marge Fiely; aunt Alice Fiely; special cousins Barbara Mussellman, and Patty Robinson, nieces and nephews Kathleen Jones, Christopher (Ellie) Weiher, Danielle (Brian) Cooper, Nicole Fiely, Juliette and Adrienne Fiely; great nieces and nephew, Brandi and Bruce Whitelow, Sydney and Avery Cooper; great, great niece and nephews, Brook'Lynne, Jameer, and Bran'dinn Whitelow, Sean Murphy, special friends Merscia Kelley and Debrice Mitchell, and numerous cousins.

He was a graduate of Carroll High School and Miami Jacobs college, after which he did secretarial work for the Dayton Fire Department. He was a devoted son, brother, and uncle, and loved animals of all kinds. He enjoyed family gatherings and especially loved to compare family members to various Hollywood personalities. He loved listening to Leslie Gore and Dusty Springfield, and enjoyed long walks along the east Dayton bike path to watch deer.

The family will receive visitors from 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home South Dayton Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Kettering, OH 45439. Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am following visitation, after which he will be buried beside his mother and father at Calvary Cemetery, Dayton.
