Gregory Paul Smith

April 21, 1989 — February 4, 2017

Gregory Paul Smith, 27, resided in Springboro and died Saturday, February 4th, 2017.

Gregory was born April 21, 1989. Married his wife April 4, 2010, and welcomed his first child March 3, 2012.

He was an outstanding military veteran who served overseas in Afghanistan with the 173rd. He spent 6 years serving his country until he was medically retired.

Gregory had a love for Reds baseball games, Ohio State and Cleveland Browns football and North Carolina basketball. Along with a love for craft beer and collecting Red's bobble head guys.

He was a family first man who made sure his family was well taken care of before himself. He was the most dedicated and loving father and husband that no one could compare to. His daughter adored him and shares his same silly personality while his wife fell in love with him the moment they said "Hi".

Gregory was the type of person that people gravitated to the moment they met him. He was always the life of the crowd making you either laugh or giving you a hard time. His smile alone would make anyone happy.

Gregory is survived by his wife Ashley Smith, daughter McKenna and unborn son Conner. As well as his mother Iva Royalty and grandparents Gene and Sylvia Bundy.

His viewing will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at Newcomers South from 4:00pm-7:00 pm.

If donations would like to be made in Gregory's name in place of flowers, please donate to the PTSD charity of your choice.
