William Vaughn, Jr.

William Vaughn, Jr. "Bill" age 50 of Dayton, passed away January 31, 2017. He was born April 19, 1966 in Pineville, KY to the late William A. and Shirley Vaughn, who survives. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Judy Lynn Caldwell and Gwen Vaughn Adams; and brothers: L.B. Vaughn and William A. Vaughn, Jr.
In addition to his mother, Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Shannon Vaughn; son, Tommy Alan (Xhm) Vaughn; grandson, Zayne; brothers: Ken (Nancy) Vaughn, Larry (Sheri) Vaughn, Les (Debbie) Vaughn, Ronnie (Ann) Vaughn and David (Carolyn) Simpson; sisters: Janie (Jerry) Gibson, Linda Hill, Kathy Vaughn, Shirley "Sis" Vaughn, Billie Jean Helton and Connie (Jim) Groce; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Bill was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He loved spending time with his family, friends and his dogs: Tank, Tanner and Dusty. Bill will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm.
