Lois Jean Tucker, age 89, of Dayton, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017. She was born July 17, 1927 in Orangeburg, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Mable Kennan; husband, Roy Tucker; grandson, Brian Tucker and siblings, Milton, Bill and Margie.
Lois is survived by her children, Larry (Patty) Tucker, Michael (Fayrene) Tucker, Deborah Carver and Jerome (Alice) Tucker; sister, Phyllis (David) Maxwell; grandchildren. Edwin, Brittany, Yalonda, Kristina, Beth, Steven and Allen; 15 great-grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the funeral service at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 at The Gathering Place Baptist Church, 3001 Ackerman Blvd. Dayton, OH 45429 with Pastor Dan Mullins officiating. Burial at David's Cemetery.
