Kenneth E. Weese, age 80 of Riverside, passed away January 8, 2017. He was born March 16, 1936 in Dayton to the late Estol G. and Loleta C. Weese. In addition to his parents, Ken was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Audrey Rene Gwin; and daughter, Wanda Weese.
Ken is survived by his wife of 40 years, Beverly Weese; children: Kenny A. (Chris) Weese, Cheryl Gwin, Tiffany (Mike) Williamson, Patrick H. (Ashley) Weese, Deborah A. (Bruce) Mills, Cynthia L. (Eric) Kepley and Roger W. (Janet) Supinger; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers: Starling Weese and Tom (Reable) Weese; sisters: Kay Fleming and Sharon Porter; uncle, Bob Weese; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Ken was a veteran of the U.S. Army Signal Corps. He graduated from Kiser High School, Class of 1955; and was a member of Kiser Alumni. Ken played with the Dayton Triangles / Colts Semi-Professional Football Team. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church, where he was an usher and sang in the choir.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 pm on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 7:00 pm. Pastor Russ Morgan officiating.
