Penny D. Lloyd age 56 entered Heaven on 12/8/2016 at 2:10 pm surrounded by her children after a 6 month courageous battle with cancer. She was an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother and Mamaw.
On April 20, 1960 our mom entered this world not knowing how much love and joy she would bring with her. When she was just 15 years old she met the boy next door who became the love of her life, her best friend and our father. Together they built and amazing life. They were married for 34 years before we unexpectedly lost him in October of 2014. She loved to bake. She took after her own mom who was also an amazing baker. She loved to laugh, sometimes until she cried. She could always find humor even when it was hard to find. Never once from the moment she was diagnosed with cancer did she give up or lose her faith. She would always remind us to be grateful for the time God aloud us to have her here. She had a smile that was contagious. Spending time with us and her grand babies could always bring it on. The love we all shared could be felt by anyone who seen us together. She loved our dad. He was her best friend. The love they had was a love her children have aspired to. Now she has been reunited with him once again. Our lives are forever altered and we will miss her more than words can describe. "Until we meet again we love you beautiful lady"
Penny is proceeded in death by her husband Robert J Lloyd 10/8/14, granddaughter Abigail Rice 10/13/03, brother Jeffory Massey 4/21/65, her father James Massey 8/24/85, mother Ethel Massey 1/10/11, sister Debbie Romine 2/20/00, brother Ronald Massey 11/16/15 and half sister Sande Lovett 12/16/09
Penny is survived by her children Melissa Bolden (Chris) Christine Dempsey (Kevin) Renee Rice (Dan) and Brian Lloyd, 7 grandkids Christopher Jr and Jaxon Bolden, Andrew, Avery and Aiden Rice and Ava and Lucas Dempsey. 6 brothers, James, Gregory, Steven, Gary, Randy and David Massey and sister Cynthia Plante also half brothers William and Robert Goodpaster, 35 nieces and nephews.
