Simpson, Helen, age 83 of Huber Heights, passed away on December 9, 2016. She was born September 9, 1933 in Franklin Township to the late Roy and Hazel Shafer.
She was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband of 54 years Harry "Marvin"; brothers Jim, Larry, and Gary Shafer.
Helen is survived by her brothers Jack and Don; children Sharon Dempsey and Steve (Tessie) Simpson; grandchildren Angela Hanahan, Jonathan Hanahan, Reggie Dizon, and Rolando Dizon; great-grandchildren Brianna, Alexandria, Jace, Trestan, and Nahla; as well as extended family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 13, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, starting at 9am until time of service at 10am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
