Carlyn Sue Roberts, age 72 of Kettering, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Hospice of Dayton. She was born October 16, 1944 in Kettering, Ohio, to the late George and Dorothea (Schultz) Schimer.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, George and Terry Schimer.
Carlyn is survived by her husband of 52 years, Forest; sister, Patty Foster; brother, Jack Schimer; sons, Mark (Shelby) Roberts, Rick Roberts, Dave (Sande) Roberts, Jon Roberts; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Carlyn was a wonderful and caring person who loved her family dearly and will be sorely missed. A special thanks to Hospice of Dayton who cared for her so graciously during the last days of her life in this world. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton or the American Cancer Society.
