Tesmer, Joseph "Joey" Tesmer age 38 of Shelby North Carolina passed away in an automobile accident Friday November 11, 2016.
He is coming home to Dayton to be laid to rest. Joey was born April 1, 1978 the son of William and Deborah (Oliver) Tesmer. He was deeply loved by his family. His charismatic and helpful personality will forever be missed.
He is preceded in death by grandparents Troy and Violet Oliver. He is survived by husband Shane Tesmer, brother Aaron, wife Kelli, and niece Madison Tesmer, as well as his uncle Jim, and aunt Linda Powers, and cousins Camile and Christine Powers/ Hoffman.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, November 19th at Newcomer Funeral Home, South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439, with interment to follow immediately at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, 1639 E Lytle-5 Points Rd, Centerville, OH 45458. Joey's family will greet friends on Saturday from 9-11:00 am at the funeral home.
