Schepers, Marcus J., age 83, of Dayton, OH passed away at home on November 1, 2016.
He was formerly from Jasper, IN.
A resident of Dayton since 1955, he is survived by his wife, Elizabeth and 5 children, Barbara Tocci of Royal Palm Beach, FL, John of Miamisburg, OH, Brian of Killeen, TX, Dianne Akins of Ocala, FL and Keith of Palm Bay, FL. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 2 great grandkids. Also surviving are 2 brothers, Damian and Ray of Jasper IN.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Theresia Schepers of Jasper, IN, 3 brothers and 2 sisters in Indiana.
Marcus retired from NCR Food Service after 38 years. He was a decorated veteran of the Korean War (1951). He was also a volunteer at C. F. Holliday School for 12 years. He was a lifelong member of St. Albert the Great Church.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Albert the Great Church. Interment will follow at Heritage Hills Memory Gardens on Rte 48 and Rte 73 in Springboro, OH. Friends may call from 9:30-11:00 am at the church.
Donations may be made in Marcus' memory to a favorite charity or St. Albert the Great School.
