Richard Lee Kuhbander

Richard Lee Kuhbander, 77, of New Lebanon, passed away October 5, 2016. Richard was born in Dayton, Ohio on October 30, 1938. Richard retired from Hilltop Basic Resources after almost 30 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed going racing with his grandson Kenny and Andy and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his parents; James (Rachel) Kuhbander, Dorothy (Virgil) Lillard; son, Richard Kuhbander II; brothers, Norman Kuhbander, Virgil Lillard; and sisters, Carol McIntosh, Julie Kuhbander.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sharon Kuhbander, daughter, Tonwia (William) Shepherd; son, Rickie (Aleshia) Kuhbander; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; brothers, James (Diane) Kuhbander, Lawrence Kuhbander, Robert Kuhbander; sisters, Margaret (Raymond) Balsamo, Josphine (Jack) Little, Cindy (Kenny) Northrup, Cecilia (Alan) Forsythe; sister in law, Jennifer Kuhbander; nephew, Lloyd (Lynn) McIntosh; nieces, Kara Kuhbander, Kristi Hoge; and several other relatives and special friends.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 9:30 am-10:30 am at Landmark Baptist Church, 4242 Needmore Road, Dayton, where funeral services will begin at 10:30 am with Pastor Jack Little officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Wright Patt Credit Union, 937-912-8000, to help the family with expenses.
