Mary Swann

Mary Lou Swann, age 85, passed away on Tuesday, August 30, 2016. She was born on July 1, 1931 to the late Omer and Winifred Lowery. Mary grew up in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and moved to Dayton, Ohio where she spent most of her life. She worked many years in the restaurant industry as a waitress, which she loved. She will be sadly missed by her loving son, Bill; her daughter-in-law, Pam; and her two grandchildren who she loved dearly, Justin and Brianna. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ralph; two brothers, Eugene and Rue; and two sisters, Betty and Ruby. Visitation will be held on September 2, 2016 from 3:00 to 4:30 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, OH with a Memorial Service following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association Miami Valley Chapter.
