Jean Kearns

F. Jean Kearns, age 98 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2016. She was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Thomas and Florence Hildebrand. Jean was a long time member of Christ United Methodist in Kettering, where she was very involved with their annual bazaar. She volunteered for many years at Kettering Hospital in the gift shop and patient services. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her infant son, Tommy.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, husband of 68 years, John Kearns; two daughters, Patricia Milne of Miamisburg and Kathleen Klueh of Australia; 4 grandchildren, Shawn Klueh of Australia, Leslie Hockings of Australia, Chris Milne of Hawaii, and Julia Milne of Springboro; 8 great-grandchildren, Alecia, Kyla, Chayse, Halie, Jackson, Cooper, Breanna, and Hayden; and other relatives and friends.

A funeral service for family will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2016 at Christ United Methodist Church at 12pm. Interment to follow at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
