Elmer L. Aldrich

Aldrich, Elmer L. 79, of Huber Heights, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016.
He was retired from Globe Products after more than 40 years. Elmer was a member and former treasurer of Emmanuel Church of the Brethren. He was also involved with fund raising at church. Elmer belonged to the VFW Post (Nebraska Ave) and the American Legion Post (Nebraska Ave). Elmer was known for a strong work ethic, a wonderful "Grill Master", and loved spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Rose, and by his son-in-law, Chuck Addison. Elmer is survived by his 2 daughters, Vicki (Ted) Page, Kathy Addison; 7 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Audrey Inlow, Dolly(Wayne) Lail; and 1 brother, Robert(Nancy) Aldrich; his extended family in Springfield, OH, and his special buddy, Jay Schneider.
Visitation 5pm until 8pm Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home 4104 Needmore Rd, where funeral service will be held on Friday, 1:30pm. Burial to follow at Royal Oak Cemetery, Brookville, OH.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Elmer's memory.
