Dorothy P. Cox "Dottie", age 90 of Dayton, passed away to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 3, 2016 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born July 15, 1925 in Chaska, Campbell County, TN the daughter of the late William and Ethel Pope.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Clint C. Cox; brother, Andrew Pope; and sister, Bertie Pope.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Jenice (Oscar) Hicks and Sheila Fox; grandchildren, Oscar (Jennifer) Hicks and Shannon Fox; two great-grandsons, Brenton and Clinton Hicks; and brother, William (Ruth) Pope. She is also survived by numerous family and friends.
Dottie worked at GM for 47 years and was an avid bowler. She was a member of the Antioch Shrine Hillbillies for more than 30 years and IUE 755 over 50 years.
Visitation will be Friday, July 8, 2016 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Moraine Heights Baptist Church (5661 Munger Road, Dayton, Ohio 45459). Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 pm.
