Bob Borkowski

Bob "Bush" Borkowski, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the age of 91.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ann. Bush is survived by his children, Kathleen (Charles) Walker, Mary Beth (Dennis) Harting, Roberta (Scott) Christiansen and Joe (Jill) Borkowski; 6 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Irene Golba; special friend, Dorothy Frysinger and best bud, Bo Creech.
Bush served in the U.S. Navy. He was a life-time member of St. Adalbert Catholic Church and the Polish Club. He played professional baseball for the Reds, the Dodgers and the Cubs.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, November 25, 2017 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, 1212 St. Adalbert Ave., Dayton. Interment to follow in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Friday, November 24, 2017 from 4-7 p.m. at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton.
If so desired, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Bob.
