Dennis W. Lambert, Sr.

Dennis W. Lambert, Sr., age 68 of Huber Heights, passed away October 3, 2017 at The Hospice of Dayton. He was born December 15, 1948 in Big Stone Gap, VA to the late Wentz Jr. and Dorothy (Dalton) Lambert. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his brother, Kim Lambert and mother-in-law, Joyce Martin.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Carol Lambert; daughter, Jacqueline (Michael Byrne) Lambert; son, Dennis W. (Kelly) Lambert, II; grandson, Evan Lambert; siblings, Rosie (Michael) Thompson, Mitch (Luanne) Lambert, Billy Lambert and Jeff (Peggy) Lambert; brothers- in-law, Tracy (Tina) Martin and Roy (Julie Sawyer) Martin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Dennis worked as "The Man" for Ohio Kentucky Steel Corp for over 34 years. He is a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 10:30 AM. Interment with military honors will be at Willow View Cemetery following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Hospice of Dayton, in Dennis' memory.
